Project Northland
1. Measures of the perceived harm/risk of frequent alcohol use reported by SIG participants ages 12-14 will increase by 25% as reported on the pre and post test, Cross Site Youth Survey Individual, Peer, Family
2. 15% of students that complete Project Northland will report an increase in refusal skills between the pre and post test, Cross Site Youth Questionnaire
3. 15% of students that complete Project Northland will report an increase in parent-child communication about the consequences of alcohol use as measured on the pre and post-test, Cross Site Youth Questionnaire.

1. By 2004, SIG program participants ages 12-14 who complete the Life Skills program will report an increase in drug refusal skills by 20% as compared on the pre and post CORE/GPRA instrument Individual, Peer
2. 75% of students who complete 90% of Life Skills will indicate on the CORE/GPRA , an increased knowledge of health risks that results from tobacco, alcohol and drug use
3. 75% of participants who complete the Like Skills program will indicate an improvement in assertiveness and decision making skills on the CORE/GPRA pre/post tests for questions about choices to use tobacco, alcohol or drugs
