More on NREP -
National Registry of Effective Programs

To help prevention professionals SAMSHA's Center for Substance Abuse Prevention (CSAP) created NREP. NREP is a resource to review and identify research-based programs that will produce positive results by reducing risk factors, increasing protective factors and reducing substance abuse. Although a majority of programs reviewed are family and school focused there is an increasing number of environmental programs now being considered.

Programs based on a set of strategies proven effective through rigorous evaluation will produce positive results. Finding the best program for your community includes completing a thorough needs assessment, analyzing the data and selecting goals and objectives
