·   The comprehensive services FAST offers include a) home visits, b) thirty 2 ½ hour multi-family sessions facilitated by a parent-professional team delivered over a two year period, and c) appropriate referrals to community agencies. Included in the costs are meals for each family member, supplies for program activities, transportation, childcare, a basket of lottery prizes worth $30 for each participating family, and graduation festivities and certificates.

Training:  $9,000 (includes TA & evaluation tool) plus expenses. Four days of team training instruction spread over a four month period. Four days includes two days in a workshop, three site visits, and one review day. One certified trainer is needed per team (a team must consist of at least four people but not more than ten). Training is $3,900 per site – unsure if included in other training costs. $100 certification fee per staff.

TOTAL COST: About $36,000 – $45,000 per/year for 24-30 families, but varies widely – depends on whether schools choose to re-appropriate staff to do FAST work or hire staff to do so. Varies whether team members are paid or volunteer. If additional staffing is required: Approximately $11,000 for one
8-week cycle (schools are recommended to run three  8-week cycles/year) Plus FASTWORKS booster once per month.
