The WHO Study of Health Behaviour in School-Aged Children, U.S. National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD), Bethesda, MD. This school-based research study, performed for the first time in the United States in 1997-98, has been conducted every four years by European countries since 1982. The research goal is to increase our understanding of health behaviors, lifestyles, and their context in young people, ages 11-15 years.
