ARCW
focuses on HIV/AIDS prevention and edcuation as well as providing
social services to people with HIV/AIDS through nine offices throughout
the state.

by the University of Wisconsin, CTRI works to advance "the
science of tobacco dependence and its treatment, " to provide
"effective intervention and outreach services for children
and adults," and to develop "policy initiatives to reduce
the prevalence of tobacco use and resultant health and economic
burdens." Among its other activities, CTRI coordinates the
Wisconsin Tobacco Quit Line, providing various services to those
in Wisconsin wishing to quit tobacco use.

- Helping Others Prevent & Educate about Suicide
This
nonprofit, volunteer driven organization provides information on
Wisconsin's suicide prevention strategy, offers help in finding
"Survivors of Suicide" groups around the state, lists
upcoming events, and gives assistance in helping advocates around
the state with their suicide prevention activities.

Child Abuse Wisconsin builds community resources, provides training

in Wisconsin. WATODEN provides technical assistance to and encourages
collaborative partnerships with Pre-K-12 schools, state agencies,
and community based organizations. They focus on the prevention

Wisconsin Prevention Network (WPN) is a "statewide membership
association of individuals and organizations working together to
assure human and financial resources for prevention and wellness.
WPN is a "voluntary, incorporated, non-profit organization
consisting of professionals and interested persons from a variety
of health and human service disciplines throughout the state. WPN
members currently represent over 30 prevention areas."

Wisconsin Regional Teen Institute
works through the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Continuing
Education to "build teams of youth and adults who implement
alcohol, tobacco, other drugs, and violence prevention programs
and activities in their communities." WRTI offers institutes
in various parts of the state for middle and high school youth and
the adults working with them.
