The Wisconsin Bureau of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services invites members of the prevention community to submit information about programs currently working toward developing or establishing evidence-based substance abuse prevention programs or interventions. The Bureau has been asked to nominate one program from Wisconsin to participate in a regional Service to Science Academy being hosted by the Central Center for the Advancement of Prevention Technology (CAPT).
The only requirement for consideration is that the program director and staff have an interest in improving their evidence- or research-based substance abuse prevention program. This means that programs in the beginning stages of designing an evaluation, as well as those at the point where they are considering submission to the National Registry of Effective Programs and Practices (NREPP) are eligible to apply for participation in the Academy.
