Information,
Training, Publications, Program Models and Facilitation Skills...
The Wisconsin Clearinghouse has been providing these
products and services nationally for more than 25 years. A unit
of University Health Services
at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, the mission of the Wisconsin
Clearinghouse is to help youth, families, schools, and communities
to lead healthy, productive lives.
Prevention
Resource Center for Wisconsin Residents
The Prevention Resource Center is a statewide program
of the Wisconsin Clearinghouse, providing an array of services to
non-profit, private and public sector organizations and educators
throughout Wisconsin.
Services
include disseminating prevention-related materials and information,
and providing technical assistance in such areas as grant writing
and program evaluation. Staff also present ideas and information
at conferences and workshops. The Clearinghouse mails the "Prevention
Package" to more than 700 sites, providing information on new
publications, successful programs, and a calendar of upcoming
conferences and training events. The Prevention
Outlook newsletter is published quarterly, with up-to-date
articles on important issues in the prevention field.
