Prevention Resource Center

 

In its role as the state's Regional Alcohol and Drug Abuse Resource (RADAR) Center, the Prevention Resource Center (PRC) serves Wisconsin in many ways:

 

  • Research-based health education and prevention materials
  • Free educational materials
  • Information and library service
  • Technical assistance
  • Program and policy research
  • Leadership in coordination/collaboration
  • Electronic data base searches
  • Models for effective programs
  • Assisting in community building and youth development

 

Hundreds of educators, counselors, community agency workers, health care providers, law enforcement, public health, and human services professionals, government officials, employers and parents benefit from up-to-date information provided by the Wisconsin Clearinghouse on what works in alcohol, tobacco, drug, and violence prevention.   We encourage Wisconsin residents to call, write, email, or visit the Clearinghouse in Madison.
