PREVENTION
RESOURCE CENTER (PRC) LIBRARY
The Prevention
Resource Center Library collects a wide variety of materials, ranging
from videos to curricula and pamphlets to directories. Prevention
topics covered in the PRC Library collection include alcohol and
other drugs, HIV/AIDS, teen pregnancy, perinatal care, child abuse
& neglect, youth violence, community capacity building, community
programming, and more. Educators, prevention professionals and advocates,
community organizations, and parents are just some of the people
who have utilized materials and information from the Prevention
Resource Center.
If you are in
Madison or planning a visit, why not come by and visit the PRC Library.
We are open weekdays, 8am to 4:30pm, for you to browse our materials,
preview videos, or get help in finding prevention information.

a particular topic or looking for a database of information? The
PRC can assist you as well. With access to a variety of databases
and resources through the World Wide Web, the PRC can help you find
the information you need.
